I’m very exited about getting to grips with my new camera, and starting to feel more adventurous messing about with the settings. Figuring out the lingo of IOS and F stop without rifling through boring manuals !
I was thrilled to be asked to take photos at my God son’s Christening ceremony and tried to capture the symbolism which played an important roll such as the shell, (pilgrimage) and candles (shining your light) along with friends and family’s expressions coming out of the church giving their best wishes to the family they had come to support.
My mother in law who is a keen gardener has currently been working hard to maintain and compose a beautiful landscape in the small space she has, also asked me to take some photos while she was away on holiday so they didn’t miss out on the budding flowers blooming into action !
Eager for the sun to shine, I took the first moment I could to have a play and experiment with the different flowers and infusions of colour splashed around … some unusual plants and quirky features along with a fish pond with the quaint little lilly pads gently being stroked by the fish that bobbed up to say hello !
Uploading the photos to see the results, and am really happy with the results … its so great to be able to capture a small sample of Gods wonderful creation along with the love and care Julie and Tony have given.
